Slow-Cooker Cheeseburger Sandwich Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic pepper
  • 1 loaf (8 oz. box) VELVEETA, diced
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, chopped (1 cup)
  • 1 small onion, chopped (1/4 cup)
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 12 sandwich buns, split

Slow-Cooker Cheeseburger Sandwich Recipe

Directions

  1. Cook beef and garlic pepper in 12-inch skillet over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beef is brown; drain.
  2. Spray 3- to 4-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Mix beef and remaining ingredients except buns in cooker.
  3. Cover and cook on Low heat setting 6 to 7 hours. To serve, fill buns with beef mixture.

Chili Con Queso Recipe (Chi-Chi’s)

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Velveeta cheese
  • 3/4 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 4 1/2 ounces canned diced green chilies, drained
  • 3/4 ounce canned diced jalapeño, drained
  • 3/4 ounce fresh diced green pepper
  • 2 3/4 ounces canned red peppers, diced and drained

Directions

  1. Cut processed cheese into chunks no more than 1 inch thick. Spread cheese pieces evenly in the bottom of a microwavable dish large enough for all ingredients. Spread all remaining ingredients evenly over the top of the processed cheese.
  2. Cover with a microwavable plastic lid and microwave on high for 2 minutes. Stir. Repeat the microwave process and stirring process until melted. Serve with your favorite tortilla chips.

Warm Chicken Nacho Dip Recipe

This is the classic queso dip taken to a heartier level, perfect for football games, tailgating or for taking along to pot lucks in a slow cooker

Ingredients

  • 1 (14 ounce) can diced tomatoes with green chile peppers, drained
  • 1 (1 pound) loaf processed cheese food (like Velveeta), cubed
  • 2 large cooked skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, shredded
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup diced green onion
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons taco seasoning mix
  • 2 tablespoons minced jalapeno pepper, or to taste (optional)
  • 1 cup black beans, rinsed and drained

Directions

  1. Place the diced tomatoes, processed cheese, chicken meat, sour cream, green onion, taco seasoning, and jalapeno pepper into a slow cooker. Cook on High, stirring occasionally until the cheese has melted and the dip is hot, 1 to 2 hours. Stir in the black beans, and cook 15 more minutes to reheat.

Warm Chicken Nacho Dip Recipe

This is a version classic queso dip that has been leveled up.  It is a serious crowd-pleaser that is served hot as a dip, spooned over crisp tortilla chips nacho-style, or rolled up in a warm flour tortilla. The heat can be turned up or down with the addition of jalapenos to taste.

Ingredients

  • 1 (14 ounce) can diced tomatoes with green chile peppers, drained
  • 1 (1 pound) loaf processed cheese food such as Velveeta, cubed
  • 2 large cooked skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, shredded
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup diced green onion
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons taco seasoning mix
  • 2 tablespoons minced jalapeno pepper, or to taste
  • 1 cup black beans, rinsed and drained

Directions

  1. Place the diced tomatoes, processed cheese, chicken meat, sour cream, green onion, taco seasoning, and jalapeno pepper into a slow cooker. Slow Cooker Mac and Cheese Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)
  • 1 box (16 oz) elbow macaroni
  • 4 cups shredded Cheddar cheese (16 oz)
  • 8 oz Velveeta cheese, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2/3 cup panko crispy bread crumbs

Directions

  1. Spray 5-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. In slow cooker, beat milks, melted butter, mustard, salt and peppers with whisk. Add macaroni and 3 1/2 cups of the Cheddar cheese, the cubed cheese and the Parmesan cheese. Cover; cook on Low heat setting 2 1/2 hours or until macaroni is cooked, but not mushy.
  2. Stir to combine. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese on top; cover and let stand about 15 minutes or until melted.
  3. Meanwhile, in 8-inch skillet, heat 2 tablespoons butter over medium heat. Add bread crumbs; stir to coat. Cook and stir about 3 minutes or until lightly browned. Sprinkle over mac and cheese, and serve.
